"SCREEN TIME" is part of the Absurd Fish series by Martha's Vineyard artist, Saundra LaBell.
This collection explores the little quirks we see in each other, and ourselves, made even more absurd by assigning them to fish and other sea creatures. "Screen Time" shows an angler fish, known for their bioluminescent lures. This guy's lure happens to be a smart phone that's turn toward himself while the addictive glow of the screen illuminates his craven face. This painting can be displayed facing up (listing photo), or rotated 90 degrees counterclockwise.
Each acrylic painting is done in the same color-palet, on either 6x6 inch or 8x8 inch square, flat-boards.
