"SASSY STARFISH" is part of the Absurd Fish series by Martha's Vineyard artist, Saundra LaBell.
This collection explores the little quirks we see in each other, and ourselves, made even more absurd by assigning them to fish and other sea creatures. "Sassy Starfish" knows exactly who she is and how to make herself feel good. You think her butts too big? The jewelry is a bit much? Her body language doesn't fit what you expect from her body type? Too bad! She's not here for you. She's here for herself and she's feeling good.
Each acrylic painting is done in the same color-palet, on either 6x6 inch or 8x8 inch square, flat-boards.
